Preamble begins: "In order to create a feeling of common direction and fellowship among the various elements of the Graduating Class through the extension of the intellectual, cultural and social life of the class and of the University Community...we, the Graduating Class of the University of Virginia, establish this, our Constitution, in the firm belief that this goal can best be attained by working together."
